Once you are ready to grade assignments, you will use Speedgrader, a tool embedded into your Canvas classroom.  This tool allows you to click on an interactive rubric, leave comments in the comment section, provide in-text feedback and mark-ups on written papers, as well as leave video or audio feedback for students.

Leaving In-Text Feedback or Mark-Ups

This brief video [2:06] will walk you through how to leave in-text annotations or mark-ups as you grade.  One of the benefits of this feature is that it allows students to know exactly what they did wrong and where they can improve.

Giving Feedback:  What Students See

This video [4:59] will show you what students see once an assignment is graded.  This is important because the student view is quite different than the instructor’s, and we want to make sure they are accessing all of your valuable feedback.
