Complete a Program Level Assessment
You should use the assignment selected by your program director to complete your assessment.
- Open the Grade Book in Canvas.
- Open the first student’s assignment by clicking on the small triangle in the top right-hand corner in the column that includes that assignment.
- Open the student’s paper.
- You may need to open a separate tab in order to keep the paper open as well as the rubric. To access the rubric, you will go to the Grade Book and scroll over until you see the name of the outcome rubric that your program director asked you to complete.
- Click on the small triangle in the top right-hand corner in order to open the rubric.
- Select “More Details in SpeedGrader.”
- The student’s paper will not appear, which is why you may have to keep a separate tab open in order to view the assignment.
- Select “View Rubric.”
- After reading the student’s paper, fill in each box of the rubric with an appropriate score. You DO NOT need to leave comments.
- After you’ve finished completing each portion of the rubric, select “Save” and “Submit” at the bottom.
This should then input a score for that student in the Grade Book (this doesn’t count towards the student’s grade).
You will then repeat these steps for each student.
