Bay Path University’s DHSc program is designed for professionals working in a healthcare-related field interested in assuming leadership roles in health science, education, and/or healthcare settings.

 

The DHSc program is intended for healthcare professionals who have already completed a master’s degree in (including but not limited to): Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapists, Couple and Family Therapists, Creative Arts Therapists, Dietitians and Nutritionists, Genetic Counselors, Healthcare Administrators, Integrative Health Practitioners, Mental Health Specialists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists, Recreation Therapists.

 

The program is designed with a set of core courses that all students take, as well as a designated concentration allowing students to focus their doctoral work in a specific area of interest or practice. The program consists of 48 credits, 16 courses (12 core courses and 4 elective courses), that are offered completely online.

 

There are 12 career-focused concentrations available. Students choose from one of the following concentrations:

This flexible program offers a course schedule that is 100% online. Students learn in a small, intimate, highly dynamic, and interactive online community. DHSc students attend an online orientation with their cohort prior to the start of coursework.
