Chapter 3 outlines how businesses and economists evaluate world economies and reviews what developed and developing worlds are and how they differ, as well as explains how to evaluate the expanding set of emerging-market countries.

Chapter 4 – Managing Global and Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration

Chapter 4 reviews the specific economic agreements governing global and regional trade as well as the successes and the challenges. Chapter 4, Section 3 “The United Nations and the Impact on Trade” also looks at the United Nations as a key global institution and its impact on free and fair global trade.
