Chapter 13 – Managing Global Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship
This chapter will explore how global managers oversee entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship in international business.
Chapter 14 – Managing Global Operations
Chapter 14 introduces students to how managers manage using the P-O-L-C framework, which includes the four major functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. The chapter then look to see how the Research & Development (R&D) function and innovation integrates into global management and then move on to consider intellectual property rights around the world.
Chapter 15 – Managing Global Marketing, Distribution, and Supply-Chain Management
In Chapter 15, students will learn the “hows” of global marketing, distribution, and supply-chain management. Specifically, students will see how companies decide which products to market internationally, how to source and distribute those products, and how to manage operations for smooth operation throughout the company’s supply chain.
