Internships

As part of the undergraduate psychology degree program, you will be required to complete 6 credits of experiential learning.  There are several options for this requirement, and one of those options is an internship.  If you have the time and interest in completing an internship as part of your program, please take some time to review the following information.

The Sullivan Career & Life Planning Center supports learners in obtaining relevant experiential opportunities, careful reflection to connect the classroom to the workplace, and building their career networks through interpersonal connections. From virtual job shadowing to internships for credit, we work with students and alumni to find creative opportunities for personal growth and professional advancement.

Undergraduate students completing an internship for credit should schedule an internship coaching session.

While the university has resources and supports in place to assist you as you search for an internship, it is ultimately the student’s responsibility to find their placement.  Below are some helpful resources for finding work-based learning experiences:
