Is the problem with:
- Understanding your course requirements or syllabus?
- Understanding the course material?
If yes, contact your instructor. Use the method specified in the syllabus.
Is the problem with:
- Accessing your Canvas course?
- Understanding how to submit an assignment?
- Understanding how to participate in a discussion?
- Understanding how to take a quiz?

What if I am Having a Different Problem?
Visit the IT Helpdesk Homepage.
- To open a Support Ticket, scroll down on the Helpdesk home page and click on “Submit a Ticket”
- When you are entering a ticket, please include as much detail as possible. If a part of your Canvas course is not working right, be sure to tell us:
- course number and section
- week number and assignment/discussion/page title
- details of what is happening
- screenshots, if possible
- The more details you give, the faster we can start working on the issue rather than asking you for more information.
- Use the “attach a file” option if you have a screenshot or other information that may assist us.
