Assignment Guidelines

You will have a choice of writing an Insight Paper or PowerPoint Presentation with Narration and Timing. There is one rubric, however, it is divided up in the individual boxes of the Rubric as A, for Paper; B for PowerPoint. The topic and competencies are the same.

Directions for Paper

Write a full three-page (3) comprehensive presentation based upon details below.  Follow APA guidelines, provide a cover sheet and a reference page that is not to be counted in the page count. Each paper should start with an introduction to the topic, contain a strong body substantiated with facts and a conclusion utilizing your critical thinking skills. The paper should include 3 scholarly resources. These papers are due by 11:59 PM, Saturday.

Directions for PowerPoint Presentation with Narration and Timing

This assignment requires preparing a PowerPoint Presentation of four to six (4-6 slides), (not including the title and reference slides). Instructions for PowerPoint Presentation with Narration and Timing are posted in Canvas under the Course Resource Module. While you are not being graded on how “flashy” your presentation may look, please take care to ensure that the presentation is clean, clear and professional. Assessment will be focused on the depth of the content you include. Please note when presenting the audio portion for this project simply reading the text from the slide does not enhance the presentation. A verbal analysis of your research supporting your findings reflects critical thinking adding insight while enriching your presentation. PP must be posted by 11:59 pm on Saturday in Canvas. Be sure to reference the student learning outcomes and competency identified in the weekly overview, in the syllabus, and in the rubric as grading strictly adheres to the identified competencies
