Academic Program Director (PD)

  • Conducts all hiring of SMEs
  • Handles all HR-related matters on behalf of the SMEs, including payroll
  • Conducts quality assurance (QA) check of the finished course content
  • Determines scope and curricular vision of project
  • Serves as project manager for all content development

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  • Curates or creates content
  • Formats content and assessments in development templates, including rubric and content templates
  • Abides by copyright and accessibility laws and guidelines related to content curation

Instructional Designer (ID)

  • Consults on and reviews templates for adherence to course design, accessibility, and usage rights policies.
  • Builds all content in Canvas LMS
  • Conducts quality assurance (QA) check of course design/learning experience
  • Provides ongoing template and technical training and support as needed
